Carlos is a senior lecturer, researcher, and a leading expert in post-quantum security (particularly blockchains) with decades of experience. He spends a good amount of time in quantum software engineering, cybersecurity, and quantum computing infrastructure. He is the Deputy Director of the newly formed Quantum Applications Research Centre (QuARC).
