Announcing Fusion Post-Quantum Digital Signatures
Geometry Labs has developed highly aggregatable Fusion digital signatures for the QRL ecosystem with funding from the QRL Foundation’s grants programme. A formal specification and parameterization of the Fusion signature scheme is currently being developed by Geometry Labs; once complete, these algorithms will be made available to the public as open source software and shared with NIST for consideration as a possible standard.

Roadmap update Q1:2023
The QRL Foundation has confirmed the receipt of 5 large grant applications and 2 small grant applications thus far. The next round of large foundation grants will be announced in Q2 2023. Core development is now entirely focused upon unlocking proof of stake as a consensus mechanism and enabling smart contract functionality (EVM).

Highlights QRL Grant Programme The QRL Foundation is committed to creating an open-source, secure and resilient blockchain protocol, which is why, last month, the QRL Foundation launched the QRL Grant Programme and is seeking to support a proliferation of at least ten projects with small grants over the next year Our program is geared towards equipping developers, companies and teams with the necessary tools to create resourceful projects built on QRL, ultimately expanding its user base.

Farewell 2022 - you will not be missed 2022 has been a year to forget for crypto assets and markets in general. Raising of interest rates pricked asset bubbles around the world putting pressure on crypto asset valuations. Excessive leverage from hedge funds and the collapse of luna/terra have obliterated companies throughout the space, worst of all wiping out retail investors with funds in seemingly safe centralised lending companies such as Blockfi, Celsius and many others.
